Recently bought these as I have the blue purple and yellow ones that I wear on holiday in resort and at the beach. However these are perfect for swimming laps at the gym being black they are just like regular trunks just a little briefer at the rear, but freedom of movement is phenomenal and very little drag in the water. Far better than shorts draped around your knees dripping for ages and preventing a streamlined swimming action.
